Roasted Food

From Zelda Wiki, the Zelda encyclopedia

Roasted Foods are a recurring type of Item in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Locations and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Roasted Foods are a type of Food made by dropping Cooking ingredients near Fire or in a Scorching Climate.[1][3][4] They can also be made by striking the Material with Fire Arrows, a Flameblade, a Great Flameblade, or a Flamespear. After burning for a short period of time, the ingredients will eventually turn into their corresponding Roasted Foods. When eaten, Roasted Foods will restore 50% more Hearts to Link's Life Gauge than their uncooked counterparts.[1] However, they do not provide any of the boosts that would have been present if they were Cooked into a meal.[1] Unlike meals created in Cooking Pots, Roasted Foods stack in Link's Inventory.
