Snow Realm
The Snow Realm is the northwestern quadrant of the re-established land of New Hyrule and the second region explored by Link in Spirit Tracks.[1]
Features and Overview
As its name implies, the Snow Realm is a region of intense blizzards that is covered in much Ice and Snow, is home to the Anouki tribe, and is the location of the Snow Temple, one of the four special temples scattered across Hyrule that power the Tower of Spirits. Link comes to this region after obtaining the Snow Rail Map in the sixth section of the Tower of Spirits and restoring enough of the lost Spirit Tracks to reach the Snow Sanctuary and meet with the Lokomo Sage known as Steem.
The Snow Temple resides in the northwestern corner of the Snow Realm and is cursed with the beast known as Fraaz in order to disrupt the energy flowing from the temple to the Tower of Spirits. With this, the temple's energy beacon was deactivated, weakening the Tower of Spirits and causing the Spirit Tracks that lead to the tower to vanish while blizzards begin to surround the temple, as a result of the darkness that had taken root there.
Southwest in the Snow Realm is the Anouki Village which is, as its name suggests, where the Anouki people live. Just northwest of the village is the Snow Sanctuary, home to the Lokomo Steem. Up north is the Snow Temple and to the west is a hidden Station known as the Snowdrift Station, which can only be uncovered after obtaining a certain Force Gem. On the other side of the Snow Realm is the other hidden Station, the Slippery Station, and directly south of it are two small Stations known as the Wellspring Station and the Bridge Worker's Home, both of which are important to the game's story.

- The Snow Realm is the only Realm that is regularly patrolled by an Armored Train, which otherwise only appears during certain circumstances.
