Egg Tarts are recurring Meals in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2][3]
Location and Uses
Breath of the Wild
Egg Tarts can be made in a Cooking Pot by combining Tabantha Wheat, a Bird Egg, Cane Sugar, and Goat Butter. When eaten, they will restore four of Link's Hearts, though they can also be sold for 30 Rupees. It is said that one knows when this dish is done baking due to its delightful smell.[1]
By adding a fifth Ingredient, different variations of Egg Tarts can be made:
- Hearty Egg Tart:[4] Eating one will completely restore Link's missing Hearts, in addition to temporarily increasing his maximum Hearts.[4] They can be sold for 50 Rupees.
- Energizing Egg Tart:[5] If eaten, these will restore a portion of Link's Stamina Wheel.[5] They will also heal him for five Hearts and are worth 50 Rupees when sold.
- Enduring Egg Tart:[6] Eating one of these dishes will completely refill Link's Stamina Wheel and temporarily increase his maximum Stamina.[6] They also restore six of his Hearts and sell for 50 Rupees.
- Hasty Egg Tart:[7] These tarts temporarily boosts Link's movement speed.[7] They will also heal him for five Hearts, and they can be sold for 50 Rupees.
- Spicy Egg Tart:[8] When eaten, they will temporarily increase Link's Cold Resistance for one level.[8] They will also heal him for five Hearts and sell for 50 Rupees.
- Electro Egg Tart:[9] If they are eaten, they will temporarily increase Link's Shock Resistance.[9] They also heal him for five Hearts, and they sell for 50 Rupees.
- Mighty Egg Tart:[10] Eating one will temporarily boost Link's attack power.[10] They will also heal five of his Hearts, and they sell for 50 Rupees.
- Tough Egg Tart:[11] They grant a temporary Defense boost when eaten.[11] They restore five of Link's Hearts to his Life Gauge and are worth 50 Rupees when sold.
- Sneaky Egg Tart:[12] Eating them will temporarily increase Link's Stealth.[12] They also heal him for five Hearts and sell for 50 Rupees.
- Chilly Egg Tart:[13] If they are eaten, these tarts will temporarily increase Link's Heat Resistance by one level.[13] They will also heal four of his Hearts, and they sell for 50 Rupees.
Tears of the Kingdom
Egg Tarts return from Breath of the Wild. Their Recipe remains unchanged, requiring Link to Cook a Bird Egg, Cane Sugar, Goat Butter, and Tabantha Wheat together.
