Crab Stir-Fries are recurring Meals in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Crab Stir-Fries are made by Cooking Goron Spice and any type of Crab together in a Cooking Pot. A regular Crab Stir-Fry can be made by either using two different types of Crabs or by adding a third Ingredient with a contradictory effect. When eaten, it will restore seven of Link's Hearts to his Life Gauge. Alternatively, they can be sold for 50 Rupees. The Goron Spice used is known to pair perfectly with the flavor of the crab meat.[1]

Three different variations of Crab Stir-Fry exist, correlating with the three different types of Crabs available:

  • Mighty Crab Stir-Fry:[4] Made using Razorclaw Crabs. When consumed, Link's attack power will be temporarily boosted.[4] They heal two Hearts and sell for 30 Rupees.
  • Tough Crab Stir-Fry:[5] Made using Ironshell Crabs. If eaten, Link will have a higher Defense for a short period of time.[5] They also heal for five Hearts and can be sold for 30 Rupees.

Tears of the Kingdom

Crab Stir-Fry reappears in Tears of the Kingdom. It has the same Recipe that it did in Breath of the Wild, which is to Cook either a Bright-Eyed Crab, Ironshell Crab, or Razorclaw Crab with Goron Spice.
