Breath of the Wild

Frozen Hearty Salmon are made by exposing Hearty Salmons to Ice. They heal four Hearts in Link's Life Gauge and grant him temporary Heat Resistance.[1] Due to the removal of the excess fat, these Salmon do not taste as fishy as they used to.[1]

Tears of the Kingdom

Frozen Hearty Salmon return in Tears of the Kingdom s a variety of Frozen Food. They can be made by exposing Hearty Salmons to a Freezing Climate or Cold Water. As a result of being frozen, excess fat has been removed, which results in a decrease to their Fish-like taste.[2] By eatingg a Frozen Hearty Salmon, Link can restore four Hearts to his Life Gauge and receive one level of temporary Heat Resistance.
