Breath of the Wild

Hyrule Compendium Entry
100  (101Master Mode) Meteo Wizzrobe
Description
These spell-casting monsters can be found all over Hyrule. They use their meteor rods to hurl fireballs or to summon flaming monsters and have been known to severely raise the temperature around them. The weather will normalize once the Wizzrobe is defeated.
Common Locations
Hyrule Field
Eldin Canyon
Recoverable Materials
None

Meteo Wizzrobes are a stronger variant of the Fire Wizzrobe. They attack by using their Meteor Rods to conjure 3 Fireballs as well as by summoning flaming monsters such as Fire Chuchus and Fire Keese. They are also able to increase the area's temperature, making it too hot for Link without heat-resistant Armor or Elixirs.[4] The Meteo Wizzrobe, like other Wizzrobes, will become invisible after attacking, leaving ripples in the air with each footstep. Striking it in the head with an Arrow will stun it and give Link time to attack. Hitting it with an ice attack, such as with Ice Arrows or a Frostblade, will immediately evaporate the Wizzrobe. Upon defeat, Meteo Wizzrobes drop their Meteor Rod.

Tears of the Kingdom

Hyrule Compendium Entry
109  Meteo Wizzrobe
Description
These spell-casting monsters can be found all over Hyrule. They hurl multiple fireballs, summon flaming monsters, and have been known to severely raise the temperature around them. They are more resilient than Fire Wizzrobes.
Common Locations
Gerudo Highlands
Akkala Highlands

Instead of a Meteor Rod, Meteo Wizzrobes now carry a Magic Rod that has been Fused to a Ruby. Link can defeat them in one hit by Fusing Ice-type Materials to an Arrow, such as Ice Fruits or White Chuchu Jelly.
