Rivan is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series.[2][3]

Biography

Breath of the Wild

Rivan is a Zora who wields a Silverscale Spear and stands guard at the entrance of Zora's Domain with his daughter, Dunma. He is the son of Trello, whom he warns Link against seeing due to the prejudice older Zora have against Hylians. He is over 130 years old.[4]

When Link first encounters him, Rivan will reveal that they used to swim together when he was a child at the age of 30.[4][5] During this time he was friends with Bazz and Gaddison, the three of them forming the Big Bad Bazz Brigade.
