Cold Weather Attack is an Added Effect in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]
Overview
Cold Weather Attack is an Added Effect that, when in Freezing Climates, causes Link's charge attacks and combo finishers to generate an Ice-based area of effect. In addition to the damage the Enemy will receive by default from the element, the area of effect has a bonus attack power of five, which can be increased by the Attack Up Effect. Level two increases the size of the area of effect by 50% for combo finishers and 33% for charge attacks, while level three increases the size of the area of effect by 100% for combo finishers and 66% for charge attacks. Level three is the maximum possible potency for this Effect.
