The Fairies' Woods is a location in Oracle of Ages.[1][note 1] It is located directly to the west of Lynna City. This area only appears in the present; its past equivalent is Deku Forest.
Overview
Similarly to the Lost Woods, they change according to what area Link is in and which direction he decides to go. The Fairy Woods contain a Hide 'n' Seek game in which the young heroes has to look for three Stray Fairies (a yellow, a pink, and a blue one), that are similar in appearance to those that appeared in Majora's Mask, in a supernatural game of Hide and Seek to be granted access to the Wing Dungeon.[3]. When Link beats the fairies at their game, they set the forest back in order and allow the young hero to enter the dungeon.
Later on in the game, one of the animals will become lost in the woods. Which one it is depends on if Link has a Strange Flute and which flute he has. Once Link finds the animal, it will become Link's companion and he will receive the corresponding flute.
