The Road to Goron Village is a location in Majora's Mask.[1][note 1] It serves as the main passageway between the Mountain Village and the Goron Village.

Features and Overview

The road features the Twin Islands,[3] a pair of islands connected by wooden bridges through a smaller one in the middle, all surrounded by a lake.

During winter, the lake is frozen and is covered with snowballs which Goron Link can destroy with a punch. During the first two days, the Goron Elder can be found frozen inside one of the snowballs. A Secret Grotto covered with ice can be found on the second big island. Inside, a Hot Spring can be found. Tingle can also be found floating above the small island.

During spring, the ice on the lake melts, revealing a Treasure Chest containing a Piece of Heart which can be obtained as Zora Link.

Goron Racetrack

Main article: Goron Racetrack

To the left of the entrance, a path to the Goron Racetrack can be found. The entrance to the Racetrack is covered by a Boulder which must be destroyed with a Powder Keg. The Racetrack only opens during spring.

Notes

  1. The Road to Goron Village was referred to as Goron Pond in The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition—The Official Nintendo Player's Guide by Nintendo Power.[2] However, as this contradicts the name given in-game, it is not considered Canon.
