Main articles: Grassland Fox and Snowcoat Fox

Foxes are medium-sized mammals that can be found throughout Hyrule Kingdom. They are solitary Creatures, and they will run away if they spot Link nearby.[2] When a Fox is killed, it will drop Raw Meats.

There are two varieties of Foxes in Breath of the Wild. The first are Grassland Foxes, which is most common around Hyrule Field and the Lanayru Great Spring. They are omnivorous, focusing on eating both fruit and Insects.[2] The second are Snowcoat Foxes, which reside in the Hebra Mountains and on Mount Lanayru. They are variations of Grassland Foxes that have white coats to blend in with the Snow in their habitats.[3]
