Harlow is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series.[2][3]

Biography

Breath of the Wild

Harlow is a Stable Worker at the Snowfield Stable in the Tabantha Tundra.[4] When Link speaks to her, she suggests that he rest in one of their Beds before journeying into the snow.[5] At night, Harlow will scrub the Stable floor, as she can only clean when it is dark out.[6] During the day, she will sit beside Danton at the Cooking Pot next to the Stable. However, she will retreat inside if it starts to snow.

Harlow is annoyed by the pursuit of power and thinks that there is more to being a hero than having the Sword that Seals the Darkness,[7] which Danton is fascinated by. If Link agrees with her, she says that she hopes a kind swordsman like him will be the one to wield the Master Sword, if it exists.[8] Alternatively, if Link tells her that he loves adventure, she notes that he willingly ventured all the way to Snowfield Stable.[9]

Harlow overhears Link when he shows the Master Sword to Danton, which she will later admit to.[10] While she can not do much to help, she promises to keep Snowfield Stable clean if Link ever needs a place to rest.[11]
