Biography
Breath of the Wild
Kaifa is a young Hylian woman who works at South Akkala Stable as a Stable Worker. Her duty is to take care of the Stable's Cuccos and Highland Sheep.[1] During Rain, she seeks shelter under one of the Trees behind the Stable.[8][9]
When Link first approaches Kaifa, she asks if he is a customer.[10] Once Link has confirmed that he is, she will be relieved.[11] Kaifa explains that a suspicious individual known as Kilton has been appearing all throughout Hyrule Kingdom.[12] He is supposedly the owner of the Fang and Bone, which she has heard only appears during the night.[13] Due to the rumors, the nearby East Akkala Stable has hired security, and Kaifa warns Link to be careful.[14]
If Link speaks to Kaifa again, she becomes nervous and asks if he needs something.[15] Link can ask her about Kilton again, and she admits that she does not feel secure, as the only man at South Akkala Stable is her father, Dmitri.[16] She also thinks they should hire soldiers like the East Akkala Stable did.[17]
If Link asks Kaifa who she is, she will be thrown off guard.[18] She then apologizes to Link.[19] When he asks her a second time, she takes a moment before introducing herself.[20] She explains that she is the eldest daughter at the Stable, but after that she is unable to continue.[21]
Link can ask Kaifa where they are, and she explains that they are at the South Akkala Stable.[22] Due to the large number of Highland Sheep housed at the Stable, many customers refer to it as a Sheep Stable instead of a Horse Stable.[23] While Kaifa is not good at raising Horses, she can do nothing to help the fact that they have had a lot of Highland Sheep births.[24] Kaifa begins to shout as she wonders what is wrong with having a lot of Sheep.[25] After a moment of silence, she apologizes to Link for her outburst.[26] She will later claim that she does not care if the Stable is referred to as the Akkala Sheep Stable.[27]
