Ollie is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series.[2][3]

Biography

Breath of the Wild

Ollie is a Sheikah and the innkeeper of the Shuteye Inn in Kakariko Village. He is notably timid, often stuttering as he speaks with Link. Ollie often falls asleep while standing at the Inn's front desk.[4] However, he will be startled awake when Link approaches him.[5]

After regaining his senses, Ollie tells Link about the Shuteye Inn's services, offering a regular bed for 20 Rupees and a soft bed for 40 Rupees.[6] If Link asks about the differences between the Beds, Ollie tells him it is stuffed with premium Cucco feathers, which will result in him feeling more energized than usual if he sleeps in it.[7] Once Link selects a Bed option, Ollie asks what time he wants to wake up.[8] When this is done, Ollie will go along with his choice,[9][10][11] but he is unsure if he will be awake at that time.[12] If Link decides to leave instead, Ollie will be disappointed.[13]

After Link sleeps at the Shuteye Inn, Ollie will wish him a good morning.[14] Out of habit, he also says this at noon and at night, but he realizes his mistake a corrects himself.[15][16]
