Spirit Tracks

Ice Chuchus are white Chuchus that produce an icy mist in Spirit Tracks. They are native to the Snow Realm of Hyrule. Ice Chuchus appear in more frigid climates, such as Mount Hylia and the Hebra Mountains. They are lightweight and can be pushed about with gusts of wind from the Korok Leaf. If they touch Link, he becomes temporarily frozen due to the frigid air they emit.[5] Ice Chuchus attack by leaping at Link and creating an icy blast around them. After attacking, Ice Chuchus temporarily lose their icy coating and are vulnerable to attack. If they are defeated while they have their icy exteriors, they will explode into a cloud of frost, freezing anything in range.[6] Ice Chuchus drop White Chuchu Jellies upon their defeat.

Tears of the Kingdom

Ice Chuchus in Tears of the Kingdom can, once again, be found in snowy regions. They emit frigid air that temporarily freezes Link if he touches them.[7] Ice Chuchus attack by leaping at Link and creating bursts of frost that freeze anything caught in them. They are temporarily thawed after attacking, allowing Link to safely strike them. When defeated with their icy coatings active, they explode into a cold mist that freezes anything nearby.[8] When defeated, Ice Chuchus drop White Chuchu Jellies.

Other Appearances

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Ice Chuchus reappear in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, first appearing in Revali, the Rito Warrior. They act the same as in Breath of the Wild, and once again drop White Chuchu Jelly upon defeat. The giant variants make a reappearance during the Pulse of the Ancients DLC missions, attacking by rolling into the player, spinning around, slamming down into the ground, and firing off small Ice Chuchus.
