Frost Gleeoks are three-headed, winged Gleeoks first sighted on Hyrule's Surface after the Upheaval.[3] They are massive creatures, towering well above Link and even dwarfing other large enemies such as Molduga. Icicle-like horns grow out of their heads, and each head bears a single eyeball. Within their bodies they generate frigid air, which they use to attack intruders in their territory.[3]

Each head can shoot ice balls and beams of ice separately, as well as all at once. Their large wings allow them to hover above the ground; when at low health, they fly very high and rain down giant Icicles, which can be sent back into the air with Recall to allow Link to reach them. While on the ground, they flap their wings to create strong winds and Snowballs that keep Link from approaching, and may sometimes attack with their tails if Link gets too close. In order to stun them long enough to attack, Link must shoot all three of their heads within a short period of time. Like most ice elemental enemies, they are vulnerable to fire attacks. When attacking, they produce a Freezing Climate around their location, which will continuously damage Link unless adequate protection is used. This Freezing Climate dissipates for the duration of their being successfully stunned.

Defeated Frost Gleeoks may drop up to three Gleeok Frost Horns, up to six Gleeok Wings, and Gleeok Guts.
