In the Japanese version, ReDead Knights are actually known as [[Gibdo]]s. The fact that they are swathed in bandages in ''Twilight Princess'' further connects them to the mummified appearance of the Gibdo. However, in {{HW}}, they are correctly referred to as Gibdos, as the ReDead Knight is a fire-based variant.

When first encountered, a ReDead Knight lays motionless on the ground, until [[Link]] wanders too close, when it rises and drags its sword towards him.  When Link is within the monster's attack range, it will release a paralyzing scream, and finish its attack with a powerful blow from its sword.
 
Twelve [[Arrow]]s, two [[Arrow#Bomb Arrow|Bomb Arrows]], the [[Ball and Chain]], the [[Hidden Skill#Jump Strike|Jump Strike]], and the [[Hidden Skill#Mortal Draw|Mortal Draw]] can be used to defeat a ReDead Knight. Also, in [[Wolf Link|wolf form]], they can be killed by L-targeting them and continuously biting it twice. With one or two Knights in the area, they should be attacked from afar. The third [[Hidden Skill]], the [[Back Slice]], can be used if Link is caught in the ReDead Knight's scream by pressing the A-Button and tilting the control stick left or right. When the enemy brings down his sword, Link will roll around it and slice at it, leaving it vulnerable for even more damage.
 
Large groups of ReDead Knights found in the Cave of Ordeals can often surround Link, causing the fight to be much more frustrating. In the cave, it is best to use the wolf form, as Link can target one ReDead and rapidly press A. Link will jump onto and bite the ReDead the moment the scream is over.

ReDead Knights are Enemies in Hyrule Warriors.[1]

Characteristics

ReDead Knights appear as elite Captains alongside Gibdos. They often appear fighting alongside enemy hordes. Their special attack involves screaming while releasing a shock wave around them or a wave of noise, which stuns any opposing Warrior, including infantry troops, who are caught in it. Once stunned, they will then attack their enemy with their Swords. Their screams, however, also leaves them vulnerable to attacks as it exposes their Weak Point Gauge. They also have an additional attack which causes them to glow briefly before spewing a poisonous miasma around them, similar to Deku Babas. When charging this attack, they expose their weakness to Arrows, which will cause them to expose their Weak Point Gauge and spin around, damaging their allied units if shot at while glowing.

When defeated, ReDead Knights will either drop ReDead Bandage or ReDead Knight Ashes Materials.
