Force Gem 12 is an Item in Spirit Tracks.[1]
Location and Uses
Force Gem 12 is an optional Force Gem that can be obtained once Link has received a Freight Car from Kagoron. When Link visits Castle Town, he comes across Lucia, who notices that the young engineer can now transport Cargo and puts in a request for at least 10 fresh Fish,[2] which can be purchased in Papuchia Village at 50 Rupees for 20.[3] If Link delivers the Fish to Lucia before half of them spoil, she will be thrilled to finally be able to bake a huge Fish casserole, and gives Link Force Gem 12 as thanks.[4]
Force Gem 12 restores a section of Spirit Tracks primarily in the Forest Realm. There, the new tracks appear in the eastern area, connecting to both the original set of Spirit Tracks and the dead-end part of the tracks created by Force Gem 2, then extend farther east over the waters and into the Ocean Realm, where they will either merge into the stretch of tracks created by Force Gem 16, or stop at a dead-end until Force Gem 16 is eventually collected. This small section in the Ocean Realm passes by Ocean Rabbit 8.
If Force Gem 12 is not obtained by the time Link completes the Fire Temple and agrees to Niboshi's delivery request, then he will need to obtain Force Gem 16 first, as the Fish merchant of Papuchia Village expects a shipment of Mega Ice before she will sell any more Fish.[5]
