Force Gem 10 is an Item in Spirit Tracks.[1]

Location and Uses

Force Gem 10 is an optional Force Gem that can be obtained by helping the Anouki of Anouki Village to erect a fence to keep so-called "monsters" out.[2] If Link visits Anouki Village any time after playing the Song of Restoration of the Ocean Realm, he will come across Yeko, who requests the young engineer's help in obtaining some Lumber and a handyman, as the Anouki have neither.[3]

Link can return to the Trading Post to find the bridge worker Kenzo, who is looking for a change of scenery after completing the bridge to the Ocean Realm.[4] After Link mentions the job in Anouki Village, Kenzo initially resists the idea of building something other than a bridge,[5] but quickly changes his mind and agrees to the job after inferring that a "true craftsman" can build any structure.[6] Link can also purchase Lumber from the lumberjacks in Whittleton at 100 Rupees for 20 logs; the Anouki require at least 15 logs.[7]

The Spirit Tracks created by Force Gem 10

As this is the only Force Gem that requires Link to transport both a Passenger and Cargo aboard the Spirit Train, the two deliveries can be made separately,[8][9] or in the same trip, though Link must first borrow a Freight Car from Goron Village. For the first delivery, Yeko rewards Link with one of the Treasures worth 150 Rupees.[10][11] Once they can begin building the fence, he shows his thanks by producing Force Gem 10.[12] This creates a new section of Spirit Tracks to the west of the Snow Temple, which lead directly to the Snowdrift Station, passing Snow Rabbit 10 along the way.

If Force Gem 10 is not obtained by the time Link clears the Lava Geysers in Goron Village and agrees to Mash's delivery request, then he will need to obtain Force Gem 9 first, as the lumberjack from Whittleton expects a shipment of Goron Iron before he will sell any more Lumber.[13]
