Location and Uses
Force Gem 13 is an optional Force Gem that can be obtained once Link has received a Freight Car from Kagoron. Back in Link's home town of Aboda Village, Harry asks the young engineer for help with starting his Cucco farm, requesting 10 birds for his then-empty pen.[2] As the Cuccos from Georgio in Castle Town are sold in bunches of five for 50 Rupees,[3] Link must make at least two trips via the Spirit Train to fulfill the request. Harry thanks Link for his help by producing Force Gem 13.[4]
Force Gem 13 creates a new section of Spirit Tracks in the Forest Realm. The new tracks pass through the south end of the large forested area and into a tunnel in the realm's southwest, where it makes several quick turns and passes through one of the arches of Warp Gate E (with the green activation gem). If Force Gem 3 has not been collected, then the tracks from Force Gem 13 come to a dead-end inside the tunnel; otherwise, they exit the tunnel and immediately merge with the tracks created by Force Gem 3 in a small clearing where Grass Rabbits 8 and 9 are found.
