Shields of the Mind's Eye are small Sheikah-made Shields found in both East Necluda and West Necluda.[1] They also have a chance to appear in Treasure Chests that spawn when the Super Smash Bros. Series Sheik amiibo is scanned with the amiibo Rune. Shields of the Mind's Eye were designed to decrease the wielder's blind spots without sacrificing too much in the way of defense.[1] These Shields belong to the Sheikah Gear equipment archetype, a series of Weapons created by the modern Sheikah.[3]
Being made of metal, Shields of the Mind's Eye will conduct Electricity and attract Lightning if they are equipped during a Thunderstorm. They will also sink if are dropped in Water, but they can be picked up and manipulated with the Magnesis Rune. Finally, they will not burn when exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate like a wooden Shield does.
