Kaysa's Great Fairy Fountain is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.(BotW)[1] Kaysa's Great Fairy Fountain goes unnamed in Tears of the Kingdom.
Features and Overview
Breath of the Wild
Kaysa's Great Fairy Fountain is located on Piper Ridge in the Tabantha Frontier. As its name implies, it is home to the Great Fairy named Kaysa. The Great Fairy Fountain is surrounded by a shallow pool of Water, and a nearby path leads off of Piper Ridge. According to rumors, the shadow of Tabantha Tower points towards the Fountain in the afternoon.[2]
Initially, Kaysa's Great Fairy Fountain will be closed. Link can hear the voice of Kaysa from inside, begging him to listen to her story.[3] If he agrees, Kaysa explains that her Fountain used to receive many offerings of Rupees from travelers, but her power has dwindled now that they have stopped visiting.[4] To restore her power, Kaysa requests that Link make an offering to her.[5] Depending on how many other Great Fairy Fountains have been opened, Kaysa will ask for 100 Rupees,[6] 500 Rupees,[7] 1,000 Rupees,[8] or 10,000 Rupees.[9]
When Link makes the offering, Kaysa's Great Fairy Fountain will bloom as her power is restored.[10] As a reward for helping her, Kaysa will enhance Link's Armor, so long as he brings her the necessary Materials.[11] The degree to which she can do so depends on how many other Great Fairy Fountains have been opened.[12][13][14][15]
After hearing rumors about Kaysa's Great Fairy Fountain, Toren set out in search of it, but he has been unable to progress past the Tabantha Bridge Stable.[16] As part of the "A Gift for the Great Fairy" Side Quest, he asks Link to make an offering to the Fountain on his behalf.[17] If Link agrees to his request, Toren will give him 500 Rupees.[18] Once Link has opened the Fountain, Toren will be jealous that he got to see Kaysa in person, but he is glad that his offering has been made.[19] Toren does not give Link a reward, believing that being able to see Kaysa is enough.[20]

Kaysa's Great Fairy Fountain is located on the hill above Outskirt Stable in Hyrule Field. The path up to it has been blocked by Fallen Debris, making the Fountain inaccessible by Horse.[21]
