276 (281) Lynel Crusher

Description
This two-handed weapon is favored by the Lynels. It may be more accurate to call it a lump of metal than a weapon, but if wielded by a Lynel, it can pound you into a fine dust.
Common Locations
Gerudo Highlands
Tabantha Frontier
Properties
Atk 36

Lynel Crushers are two-handed Weapons favored by Lynels.[1] In Master Mode, Lynel Crushers are wielded by Blue-Maned Lynels. Though they are more of a lump of metal, they can be lethal in the hands of a Lynel.[1] They belong to the Lynel Gear equipment archetype, which includes all Weapons created by Lynels.[3] They are most commonly used by Lynels in the Gerudo Highlands and the Tabantha Frontier.

Being made of metal, Lynel Crushers will attract Lightning when equipped during Thunderstorms and conduct Electricity. However, they are unable to be burned by Fire or in a Scorching Climate, and they can be picked up using the Magnesis Rune on the Sheikah Slate. Additionally, Lynel Crushers will sink if dropped in Water.

Trivia

  • Lynel Crushers are one of several Permanently Missable Items in Breath of the Wild. As Lynels scale up as the game progresses, save for a few select cases, so does their weaponry. Therefore, if one is not acquired before this, the opportunity is missed.
