There are 64 different Magic Rings available in both Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. Some improve Link's ability, some decrease it, some change the appearance of Link into different characters, and some are simply collectible rings with no effect. The rings can also be exchanged over the linking ability of the Game Boy Color, in which the rings from one game can be transferred over to another. A few of the rings are kept in Link's Ring Box, and the remaining rings are stored in Vasu's shop, where unknown rings can be appraised.
