The Audience Chamber is a room within the Ancient Hyrule Castle atop Ancient Hyrule's Great Plateau. It is where the Zonai king Rauru receives guests and hears appeals from the people of Hyrule. The Audience Chamber is divided into two levels. The top level features mezzanines that flank the central hall to the east and west while the bottom level features a pathway to a pair of thrones that face north. Beneath the mezzanines at each side of the pathway, there are side chambers that house dining tables. A Stained Glass window featuring an abstract design sits along the wall just above the thrones. This window is complemented by deep blue cloth banners which in turn hang beneath a smaller Stained Glass window of a lotus. The entrance to the north and the central walkway are guarded by a detail of 12 Hylian Soldiers.

Ganondorf visits the Audience Chamber after his attempted assault on Hyrule Kingdom is thwarted through the combined efforts of Rauru, Sonia, and Zelda. Here, he falsely swears loyalty to the Kingdom as he plots to steal one of the Kingdom's treasured Secret Stones.[2]
