Golden Mantises are Items in Twilight Princess.[1]

Location and Uses

The two Golden Mantises—one male and one female—are one of the twelve pairs of Golden Bugs found throughout Hyrule. Both are located near the Great Hylian Bridge in the south of the Lanayru Province. The male Mantis can be found just inside the Bridge's northern arch, and requires the Gale Boomerang or Clawshot to collect. The female Mantis is found on the rocky wall inside the gigantic tree trunk south of the Bridge; it is normally out of Link's reach, but may fly to the ground if disturbed.

The Golden Mantises can be given to Agitha in exchange for Rupees (50 for the first, 100 for the second) or, depending on the total number of Golden Bugs given, the Big Wallet, the Giant Wallet, or Agitha's Miiverse Stamp in Twilight Princess HD. After being collected, a Golden Mantis will reappear in its original spot; if collected a second time, it will drop a Heart as Link lets it go.[2]
