Khini
Khini is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]
Biography
Breath of the Wild
Khini is a Stable Worker at East Akkala Stable in the Akkala Highlands. Throughout the day, he stands in front of the Stable and welcomes travelers.[3][4]
When Link speaks to him, Khini offers to sell him an Akkala Bun, which he promises will increase Link's energy.[5][6] If Link agrees to take one, Khini explains that he will need to eat it immediately, since the ingredients go bad quickly.[7] When Link agrees to eat it at the East Akkala Stable, Khini then asks for 10 Rupees as payment.[8]
Once Link has payed for the Akkala Bun, Khini tells him to close his eyes and open his mouth.[9] He then walks Link through the process of chewing and swallowing the Bun.[10] On occasion, eating one will grant Link extra Stamina. Afterwards, he asks Link what he thought about it.[11] If Link did not receive extra Stamina, Khini will notice and remarks that this is odd.[12] Either he, he encourages Link to visit him again in the future.[13]
