Location and Uses
The Legend of Zelda
The Adventure of Link
A Link to the Past
Link's Awakening
Tombstones are found within the Graveyard. Touching a Tombstone will spawn a Ghini or a Giant Ghini. A single Tombstone can be found west of the Graveyard. It is the resting location of the Ghost.
In Link's Awakening DX and Link's Awakening for Nintendo Switch, the Tombstones need to be pushed in the correct order described in the book atop the bookshelf in the Village Library in order to unveil the Color Dungeon.
Ocarina of Time
Majora's Mask
The Wind Waker
The Minish Cap
Twelve Tombstones are scattered throughout the northern portion of the Royal Valley. The top-left Tombstone can be pushed aside to reveal a cave with a Piece of Heart. The top-right Tombstone will move aside after Link Fuses Kinstone Pieces with Dampé, revealing a cave with Gina inside. Finally, the top-center Tombstone will move aside when Link uses the Flashing Spots on the Floor (initially covered by Rocks) to simultaneously press down three Floor Switches; this grants him access to the Royal Crypt.
Inside the Royal Crypt, a Tombstone emblazoned with the symbol of the Triforce marks the grave of Gustaf.
Twilight Princess
Phantom Hourglass
Nine Tombstones are found on the Isle of the Dead in Phantom Hourglass. While three of them have illegible messages,[2] the other six provide Link with the directions to passing through the Phantom Corridor inside the tomb of Brant, a knight of the Cobble Kingdom.[3]
Skyward Sword
A Link Between Worlds
Other Appearances
Cadence of Hyrule
Tombstones can be found in the Graveyard of Kakariko Village in the present, Forests, and Kakariko Graveyard in the future with the Symphony of the Mask DLC Pack. In Kakariko Village's Graveyard in the present and the future, a large Tombstone can be found behind two rows of smaller Tombstones. This large Tombstone can be pushed back to reveal a set of Stairs leading down to Kakariko Crypt. It can also be pulled around with the Power Glove. In the present, the Tombstone reappears behind the Stairs if a character returns to Kakariko after revealing them. In the future, the Tombstone disappears permanently if the area is returned to after they are pushed. Other Tombstones cannot be pushed.
