The Vault is a location in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Features and Overview

The Vault is a part of the Abandoned North Mine in the Eldin Canyon. In order to approach the Vault without taking damage, Link requires at least two levels of Flame Guard.

During the "Divine Beast Vah Rudania" Main Quest, Link can ask Drak about Yunobo's location while he is searching for him.[2] He will inform Link that he saw Yunobo head towards the Vault in order to retrieve Bludo's painkillers, but he has yet to return.[1]

The entrance to the Vault will initially covered by rubble. Link will need to use Bludo's Cannons to clear away the rubble, after which he will be able to access the Vault and find Yunobo. Afrer he has calmed down, Yunobo will thank Link for saving him.[3] He explains that a Magma Bomb from Divine Beast Vah Rudania caused a rock slide, which left him trapped.[4] Now that he is free, he will leave the Vault to deliver the painkillers to Bludo.[5]

Two Treasure Chests can be found inside the Vault. They contain a Purple Rupee and a bundle of 10 Ice Arrows.

There is one Korok Seed Puzzle at the Vault. It is a Natural Hiding Spot, which takes the form of a Rock on top of the Vault. When Link lifts up the Rock, the Korok will appear. As a reward for finding it, it gives Link a single Korok Seed.[6]
