Monster Horns are recurring Items and classes of Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2][3][4]

Location and Uses

Skyward Sword

Monster Horns are instruments of animal bone carried by Bokoblins.[5] They can be stolen from Bokoblins by using the Whip. Link can also win them by making between 20 to 27 cuts in the Clean Cut mini-game at Bamboo Island. The Moonlight Merchant will occasionally sell Monster Horns for 100 Rupees. In his home at night, Rupin will occasionally buy Monster Horns for 30 Rupees.

Monster Horns are necessary for Upgrading the following Items at the Scrap Shop:

A Link Between Worlds

Monster Horns can be found by opening Treasure Chests or by defeating Enemies in A Link Between Worlds. In exchange for 10 Monster Horns and 100 Rupees, the Witch will brew Link a Yellow Potion. Alternatively, Link can sell Monster Horns to the Witch for five Rupees apiece.

Tears of the Kingdom

Monster Horns are a class of Materials dropped by most Monsters in Tears of the Kingdom. When Fused to Weapons and Arrows, they increase attack power significantly.[4]

Other Appearances

Hyrule Warriors Legends

Monster Horns are Materials which are dropped by Miniblin Captain in Hyrule Warriors Legends and Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition.
