The East Barrens are located in the Gerudo Desert. The Gerudo, Pokki, can be seen collapsed near the entrance to the Misae Suma Shrine in the East Barrens, inadvertently blocking entry to the Ancient Shrine. Upon speaking to Pokki, he will be tasked with the Shrine Quest, "The Perfect Drink".
