Treasure Charts are items in The Wind Waker that are used by Link to help him find treasure. Such treasures include Rupees and even Pieces of Heart. The treasure is found by using the Grappling Hook in the Great Sea, at the location shown on the map and marked out by a pillar of light which disappears when Link approaches. There are a total of 41 Treasure Charts, each of which leads to a treasure which, once found, is marked on the Sea Chart.
A total of 31 Treasure Charts are also present in Phantom Hourglass. Like in The Wind Waker, these charts direct Link to underwater treasure, which can be retrieved using the Salvage Arm. The treasure in Phantom Hourglass consists of some Sand of Hours, some parts for Linebeck's ship, or a large amount of rupees.
Oddly, the Treasure Charts in Phantom Hourglass take the appearance of some of the special charts found in The Wind Waker, including Beedle's Chart, the Platform Chart and the Submarine Chart.

The Wind Waker
- Chart 1
- Location: Forbidden Woods
- Treasure: 200 Rupees
- Acquisition: Found in the optional room found north of the basement floor, inside a jail. Link must throw a bomb from above with the help of a wind-operated lift, after climbing a bit through some platforms.
- Chart 2
- Location: Windfall Island
- Treasure: Piece of Heart
- Acquisition: It's given to Link from Maggie's Father, in exchange of 20 Skull Necklaces.
- Chart 3
- Location: Forest Haven
- Treasure: 200 Rupees
- Acquisition: It's found inside a chest on a high and separate section of the island. Link can fly there with the Deku Leaf from the spot where the entrance leading to the Forbidden Woods is seen.
- Chart 4
- Location: Rock Spire Isle
- Treasure: Piece of Heart
- Acquisition: For sale at the price of 900 Rupees, inside Beedle's Shop.
- Chart 5
- Location: Wind Temple
- Treasure: Piece of Heart
- Acquisition: Found in the third-to-last room before Molgera's hideout, in the basement floor. Every enemy must be defeated, including the hidden ones.
- Chart 6
- Location: Tower of the Gods
- Treasure: 200 Rupees
- Acquisition: Found in the optional room west from the scale room (northern servant statue's route). Link just has to play the Wind's Requiem on the wind platform.
- Chart 7
- Location: Windfall Island
- Treasure: 200 Rupees
- Acquisition: Won after beating the Battleship mini-game twice.
- Chart 8
- Location: Horseshoe Island
- Treasure: 200 Rupees
- Acquisition: After completing the golf puzzle (which also reveals a chest holding the 28th chart, in a high spot Link can go to with the Deku Leaf), Link must enter the hole at the end and defeat the two Winged Mothula mini-bosses.

- Location: Crescent Moon Island
- Treasure: 200 Rupees
- Acquisition: Won after defeating the enemies tripulating the submarine near the island.
- Chart 10
- Location: Crescent Moon Island
- Treasure: 200 Rupees
- Acquisition: In the chest guarded by two Blue Chus.
- Chart 11
- Location: Dragon Roost Cavern
- Treasure: Piece of Heart
- Acquisition: Found on the first floor, in the room west from the central lava lake zone. Link has to cross a hot pit with his Grappling Hook.
- Chart 12
- Location: Earth Temple
- Treasure: 200 Rupees
- Acquisition: Found in the second basement floor, in the fog-filled room infested by multiple Floormasters. These must be defeated.
- Chart 13
- Location: Two-Eye Reef
- Treasure: Secret Cave Chart
- Acquisition: Won after defeating all the battleships and cannons; Link must then climb through the reef and then fly with the Deku Leaf.
- Chart 14
- Location: Headstone Island
- Treasure: 200 Rupees
- Acquisition: Won after defeating the enemies tripulating the submarine near the island.
- Chart 15
- Location: Forbidden Woods
- Treasure: Piece of Heart
- Acquisition: Found in a chest resting in the highest part of the dungeon's second room. Link needs the Boomerang to purge the chest from the eyeballs that infested it.

- Location: Seven-Star Isles
- Treasure: 200 Rupees
- Acquisition: Won after defeating all the Wizrobes in the wood towers.
- Chart 17
- Location: Spectacle Island
- Treasure: 200 Rupees
- Acquisition: Won after beating Salvatore's cannon minigame twice.
- Chart 18
- Location: Windfall Island
- Treasure: 1 Rupee
- Acquisition: Won through the Auction.
- Chart 19
- Location: Four-Eye Reef
- Treasure: Island Hearts Chart
- Acquisition: Won after defeating all the battleships and cannons; Link must then climb through the reef and then fly with the Deku Leaf.
- Chart 20
- Location: Earth Temple
- Treasure: Piece of Heart
- Acquisition: Found in the last basement floor, in a room revealed after Link destroys a small portion of the western wall in the mirrors' chamber. Once inside, he must defeat three Stalfos to succeed.

- Location: Cyclops Reef
- Treasure: Light Ring Chart
- Acquisition: Won after defeating all the battleships and cannons; Link must then climb through the reef and then fly with the Deku Leaf.
- Chart 22
- Location: Northern Fairy Island
- Treasure: 200 Rupees
- Acquisition: Won after defeating the enemies tripulating the submarine near the island.

- Location: Windfall Island
- Treasure: Piece of Heart
- Acquisition: Won after beating the battleship minigame with less that twenty cannonballs used.
- Chart 24
- Location: Windfall Island
- Treasure: 200 Rupees
- Acquisition: Link must first enter Lenzo's house from the second floor's outer door (he can reach there by climbing the windmill first). Once inside, he must walk towards the hole in a wall between two chests (one of them revealing the 29th treasure chart); said hole leads him to the staircase, then he must take a picture showing Lenzo talking with Minenco. Finally, he shows this picture to the gossip women near Zunari's shop and they'll reward the young hero for dissipating certain misunderstandings.
