Chasers are recurring traps in The Legend of Zelda series.[citation needed][1]

Characteristics

Chasers are similar to Blade Traps in that they will chase Link if he crosses their path in one of the four cardinal directions. They move slower than Blade Traps, however, and will not return to their original position upon reaching a wall. They will instead stop at their new position, and "chase" Link from there. Chasers are often found in narrow corridors where they are more difficult to dodge.

The Minish Cap

Template:Figurine There are only two Chasers in The Minish Cap, both of which are found in a single room in the Cave of Flames. Chasers begin moving slowly and speed up as they continue down their path after Link enters their line of sight. They are not activated when Link is Minish-sized.
