Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Hyrule Compendium Entry
306 (311) Dragonbone Boko Spear
Description
This Boko spear has been strengthened with fossilized bones. The bones are positioned outward so the fangs bite at the opponent. Beware Bokoblins carrying this weapon.
Common Locations
Necluda Sea
Hyrule Ridge
Properties
Atk 12

Dragonbone Boko Spears are Weapons used by Black Bokoblins, Silver Bokoblins, and Golden Bokoblins, as well as Black Moblins, Silver Moblins, and Golden Moblins. They are most commonly found near the Necluda Sea and on Hyrule Ridge. Dragonbone Boko Spears belong to the Bokoblin Gear equipment archetype, which includes all Weapons created by Bokoblins.[3] They are Boko Spears that have been enhanced with fossilized bones, positioned so the fangs will bite opponents.[1]

Being made of wood, Dragonbone Boko Spears will float if dropped in Water. If exposed to Fire or equipped in a Scorching Climate, they will start to burn. Also, unlike metal Weapons, they do not attract Lightning during Thunderstorms or conduct Electricity.

If scanned with the amiibo Rune, the Breath of the Wild Series Bokoblin amiibo has a chance to spawn a Treasure Chest containing a Dragonbone Boko Spear.
