This spear is the result of countless hours of research into the ancient technology used by Guardians. The glowing spearhead has high piercing potential.

Ancient Spears are Weapons that can be made at the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab using the Ancient Oven.[2] To make one, Link will need to provide 15 Ancient Gears, five Ancient Shafts, and two Ancient Cores. They are the result of countless hours of research into Ancient Technology done by Robbie.[1] This is common among many pieces of Ancient Soldier Gear, the equipment archetype to which Ancient Spears belong.[3] The spearhead glows and has incredible piercing power.[1]

Being made of Ancient Technology, Ancient Spears will deal additional damage when they are used against Guardians. They will not attract Lightning during Thunderstorms, will float on Water, and cannot burn if exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate.
