Development

The Legend of Zelda for the Wii U was announced in E3 2011, with a trailer of Link fighting Gohma, making fans speculating that Nintendo developers are creating Zelda for the Wii U.^[1]^[2] Eventually, on June 20th, 2011, Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed that Nintendo is planning on creating an HD Legend of Zelda title.^[3] In January 2013, a new Wii U Zelda game was officially confirmed; however, it was also stated that it would feature a different style than the Zelda HD Experience. It was said the title would not have the similar remastered graphics from Twilight Princess, but those from Skyward Sword instead. More sources are set to be revealed in E3 2013.
