The Future of Hyrule is the final Scenario in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.[1]

Overview

The scenario starts with Link, Zelda as well as two character of choice at the gate of Hyrule Castle. Astor and Harbinger Ganon arrives at Hyrule Castle and two Stalmoblins and a Stalnox are to be defeated initially inside the Great Hall.

After the three foes are defeated, Astor will summon the four Blight Ganons, in which the objective then change to defeating the four Blight Ganons. Thunderblight Ganon is located in the Dining Hall, Waterblight Ganon is located in the Guard's Chamber, while Fireblight Ganon and Windblight Ganon are located on the surface of Hyrule Castle.

After the four Blight Ganons are defeated, Astor and Harbinger Ganon will appear at the first and second gatehouses. When their health bar drops to zero, they will not die, instead they will withdraw, meeting upstairs at a location close to a flight of stairs and near the Sanctum.

There, Astor and Harbinger Ganon will merge into Calamity Ganon and control Terrako. The first player (Link) will fight Terrako and when the latter's health bar drops to zero, a cutscene about Zelda and Terrako will play.

The final destination arrives at the Sanctum, where the squad will finally fight Calamity Ganon head-on. In the first phase, the player cannot hurt Ganon. The broken Terrako will intervene when Zelda has difficulty sealing Ganon, and will weaken Ganon's strength, allowing the player to deal damage to Ganon.

When Ganon's health drops to half, he will attempt to break the floor and the scene switches to the Observatory. Ganon will be more powerful, having movesets belonging to the 4 Blight Ganons, but he will also have weaknesses to all 4 of the Sheikah Slate runes at one point of his attacks.

The battle ends when Ganon's health and weak-point gauge are drained, in which then the character the player is currently on will perform a Weak-point smash. Link will slash Ganon's body open and Zelda will seal Ganon's corpse.

A cutscene will play in which the remnants of Terrako, a Blessed Screw, sends Sidon, Yunobo, Teba and Riju back to their original timeline. The credit plays and all is well.
