Central Keeps are locations in Hyrule Warriors.[1]

Features and Overview

Central Keeps are Keeps found in several Stages.

A Central Keep is found in the Temple of the Sacred Sword. It is contained inside a fort with stone brick walls, in the center of the Stage. It has three Gates. The first of the Gates leads north, the second leads to the east into a courtyard with a wrecked fountain, and the third leads south.

A second Central Keep can be found in the Southern Desert within the Gerudo Desert Stage. Bomb Flowers line its walls and skeletons jut out over the Keep from the rocks above.

During the "Ganondorf's Return" Scenario, this Central Keep's Gate is initially closed. Once the Settlement Gates are closed, the Central Keep Gate opens and the Keep becomes one of the three Keeps in the Southern Desert that Ganondorf's Forces must capture to proceed into the Settlement.

Another Central Keep can be found in the central rocky area of the Forsaken Fortress Stage. This Keep has three Gates: one to the north, a second leading south, and a final on the west side. The north path leads to Dragon Roost Keep, the west path leads to Jail Watch Keep, and the south provides a path to Windfall Island. It is surrounded on all sides with cliffs of light brown stone. The ground consists of brown dirt with gray rocks in it. A path of light brown dirt leads through all three of the Keep's entrances.

During the Scenario "A New Disturbance", its south gate is blocked by a Stone Head.[2] This Stone Head can be destroyed by pressing a Hammer Switch southwest of it, next to a large area of Water. Pressing this Hammer Switch causes an adjacent Warship to fire a Bomb at the Head, destroying it and exposing the path to the south Gate.[3] Initially, the west and north Gates will be shut. They can be opened by capturing the Central Keep.[4]
