Blue Chuchus,(MM | TWW | TMC | PH | SS)[2] also known as Blue Chus,(TP)[2] are recurring Enemies in The Legend of Zelda series.

Characteristics

Majora's Mask

Blue Chuchus are a unique variety that only appears in the Great Bay Temple, as part of a puzzle. Unlike other Chuchus, they do not contain items like Hearts, Arrows, or Magic Jars, instead solely being used to freeze and use as makeshift platforms via the Ice Arrow.

The Wind Waker

There are 23 Blue Chus which can be found throughout the Great Sea. Link can obtain Blue Chu Jellies from them by either defeating them or using the Grappling Hook. Once Link obtains the Blue Chu Jelly from a Blue Chu, it can never be obtained again from that same one (a Yellow Rupee will drop instead). Because of this, there are only 23 total Blue Chu Jellies that Link can ever obtain.

Mother and Child Isles On the smaller of the two islands.
Spectacle Island Underneath the small bridge.
Pawprint Isle On top of the north-eastern statue.
Western Fairy Island Near the southern palm tree.
Rock Spire Isle On the final rock spire.
Tingle Island Near the small wooden sign.
Eastern Fairy Island Near the northern palm tree.
Thorned Fairy Island Near the eastern palm tree.
Needle Rock Isle On the ring isle.
Stone Watcher Island Behind the giant faced rock.
Bird's Peak Rock On the ledge above the steel door (requires the Grappling Hook).
Diamond Steppe Island On one of the higher up ledges (requires the Hookshot).
Shark Island Activate all four switches quickly to reveal an updraft, then use it with the Deku Leaf and the Wind's Requiem to reach the highest point of the island where the Chu is.
Southern Fairy Island Near the eastern palm tree.
Cliff Plateau Isles Drop into the hole and go through the cave, which will take Link to the other side where the Chu is.
Horseshoe Island To the right of the second hole. This Chu only spawns at night.
Angular Isles On top of the largest isle next to the Treasure Chest.
Boating Course Glide using the Deku Leaf from the highest point of the main island to reach the other island where the Chu is.

The Minish Cap

Template:Figurine Blue Chuchus are found within the caves of Veil Falls and in the Palace of Winds in The Minish Cap. As soon as they emerge from the ground, they electrify themselves; they are invulnerable to Sword strikes while electrified, and must be damaged with a different Item or stunned with the Boomerang or Magical Boomerang. If Link touches one while it is electrified, it will damage him and stun him briefly.

Twilight Princess

Blue Chus appear as enemies in Twilight Princess and are more rare than Red Chus, Yellow Chus or Purple Chus. They can be found in the Lakebed Temple, Hyrule Field, Snowpeak Ruins, and Caves. Upon defeat they drop Blue Chu Jelly which Link can scoop up in a bottle to drink, which restores his entire Life Gauge. They are functionally identical to a Blue Potion, but cannot be purchased.

Phantom Hourglass

Appearing similar to their design in The Wind Waker, Blue Chuchus constantly discharge electricity as opposed to the Yellow Chuchu's periodic bursts. As a result, Blue Chuchus cannot be killed with a sword while their defenses are up, and instead must be stunned first or dispatched by other means.

Skyward Sword

Blue Chuchus appear in Skyward Sword, though unlike some previous Zelda games, they cannot discharge electricity and remain underwater. Blue Chuchus can only be defeated by Link performing an underwater spin, though strict attention to the air gauge is necessary.
