The Great Sky Island is a large mass of land composed by several Sky Islands found in the Central Hyrule Sky. It is home to many Constructs who protect and tend to its grounds. On its northern end sits a large tower known as the Temple of Time.
According to a Steward Construct, the Great Sky Island and its surrounding environment were once located on the surface, but were raised into the sky to keep them safe from the Demon King in anticipation of Link's eventual awakening there.
