Shallow Water is a recurring Object in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][name references needed] In The Minish Cap, Shallow Water also acts as a trap.

Characteristics

Ocarina of Time

Four Swords

In Four Swords, Shallow Water typically appears next to Deep Water. It serves as the only means of exiting Deep Water back to dry land.

The Minish Cap

Breath of the Wild

In Breath of the Wild, Shallow Water appears along the shorelines of bodies of water, and most often transitioning into Deep Water. Shallow Water also features prominently in marshy areas such as the Lanayru Wetlands. While not deep enough for swimming, Shallow Water still allows for the use of Cryonis and may be electrified by using Items such as Shock Arrows.
