Not to be confused with the Great Hylian Bridge from Twilight Princess.

The Bridge of Hylia is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.(BotW)[1][2]

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

The Bridge of Hylia is a bridge that spans across Lake Hylia, connecting Hyrule Field from the north to the Faron Grasslands in the south. It is a massive stone structure that bears 15 piers and 13 pedestrian recesses per side. The center of the Bridge of Hylia features a disused fountain and several Wooden Boxes, which may contain Materials and Arrows when broken. Beside the fountain sits a ruined Wagon, which can be searched for Gems.

When Ralera married her husband, Rhodes, the two of them crossed the Bridge of Hylia on their way to Hateno Village.[3]

On occasion, Link can encounter Yiga Footsoldiers disguised as Travelers on the Bridge. At midnight, Farosh will begin to fly around Lake Hylia. It passes over the Bridge of Hylia three times: at 1:20 AM, 2:30 AM, and 4:20 AM.

Several Treasure Chests are located on the Bridge of Hylia. A stone Chest under the Bridge's fifth pier contains five Shock Arrows. A Soldier's Broadsword is hidden inside a metallic Treasure Chest in the Water between the seventh and eighths piers. In the Water beneath the arch of the eighth pier, Link can find two metallic Chests containing an Edge of Duality and five Shock Arrows, respectively. On the north and south springing lines of the Bridge's central pier, two stone Treasure Chests can be found, both of which contain a bundle of five Arrows. A metal Chest resting on the Bridge of Hylia's fountain contains a Zora Spear. Finally, a Phrenic Bow can be found inside a stone Treasure Chest on the Bridge's 11th pier. In Master Mode, a wooden platform held aloft by Sky Octoroks is located above the Bridge of Hylia. On this platform is a metallic Treasure Chest containing a Knight's Halberd.

A total of eight Korok Seed Puzzles are present on the Bridge of Hylia. The first can be solved by igniting the unlit stationary Torches that at the northern end of the Bridge. A second can be found by throwing Rocks off the eastern refuge on the Bridge's northern pier into a Circle on the surface of Lake Hylia. A third can be found by picking up a rock hidden under a stone slab on the Bridge's fourth pier, which reveals it to be a Natural Hiding Spot. Using Archery, Link can destroy a Balloon to solve a fourth Puzzle. The fifth is another Natural Hiding Spot, which takes the form of a Tree Branch on the wall of the seventh pier. The sixth Puzzle can be located by examining the Leaves with Fairy Dust on top of the fountain. A Flower Trail is found on the eastern side of the Bridge's ninth refuse, which must be followed to solve the seventh Puzzle. The eighth and final Korok Seed Puzzle is solved by lifting the Natural Hiding Spot Rock at the base of the 12th pier. Once these Puzzles have been solved, a Korok will appear and give Link a Korok Seed.[4]
