Rutala River is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]
Features and Overview
Breath of the Wild
Rutala River is begins at Rutala Dam in the Lanayru Great Spring, and it eventually flows into and feeds the Lanayru Wetlands. A small Dock with a Raft at its end stretches out onto the River from Samasa Plain. Divine Beast Vah Ruta's Rain will constantly fall on Rutala River until it has been calmed.[3]
When Link calms Vah Ruta during the "Divine Beast Vah Ruta" Main Quest, Mipha will pilot it out of the East Reservoir Lake and through Rutala River.
One Korok Seed Puzzle can be found on Rutala River. It is a Balloon that floats over the River south of the Zodobon Highlands. Using Archery, Link can destroy the Balloon, which causes a Korok to appear and give him a Korok Seed.[4]
