Naddon is a character in Breath of the Wild.[2]

Biography

Naddon is a Goron traveler who carries a Traveling Pack. He can be found walking along the Shadow Pass in the Akkala Highlands, stopping at East Akkala Stable and South Akkala Stable along the way.

While on the Shadow Pass, Naddon asks Link if he has met his brother, Boldon.[3] He explains that Boldon is big-hearted and does not get caught up on small issues, and he wonders where he is traveling currently.[4] Should Link ever meet Boldon, Naddon asks that he talk with him.[1]

Recently, Naddon met Laroba, a Gerudo woman who also travels along the Shadow Pass.[5] He thought she was pretty, and he appreciated how shiny her hair was.[6][7]

Naddon is knowledgeable about Gems.[8] He suggests that Link mine them from Ore Deposits, since the rare ones sell for many Rupees.[9][10][11] Naddon himself sells more rare Gems that he finds in Ore Deposits and Treasure Chests, as dislikes their taste.[12][13][14] At East Akkala Stable, he reveals that he eats the Rocks he does not need, but he realizes that a Hylian like Link would rather sell them.[15][16]

Often, Naddon makes remarks about eating while he travels.[17][18] He claims that Rocks are an important part of the Goron diet, which leads to him debating whether to sell or eat rare ones.[19] Naddon also considers Rocks to be delicious, but he prefers to sell Gems instead of eating them.[20]

Despite the difficult journey to Goron City, Naddon suggests that Link visit, claiming there are many good Shops.[21][22] Naddon also talks about the Goron Hot Springs, which are located along the Mountain Road leading to Death Mountain.[23] Due to the danger if the Mountain Road, however, Naddon warns Link about attempting to visit.[24] Despite this, he has still heard of travelers making the journey to the Springs, though he still considers it to be risky for non-Gorons.[25]

During Rain or a Thunderstorm, Naddon will run to seek shelter. He also remarks that his current situation seems to be hopeless.[26] When Link speaks to him after he escapes the Rain, he makes a rumbling sound, though he claims that it came from the Lightning.[27]

When Naddon is attacked by Enemies, he will run away in fear.[28][29][30] During this time, he will be annoyed by their appearance.[31] He can also become so tired from panting that he becomes thirsty.[32] Once Link has defeated the Enemies, Naddon will be relieved.[33][34][35] He thanks Link for his assistance, often complimenting him.[36][37][38][39] As a reward, he gives Link Food and Rupees.[40]
