Seafood Rice Balls are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Link can make Seafood Rice Balls by Cooking any seafood together with Hylian Rice in a Cooking Pot. Their default can be made either by using Hyrule Basses or Sanke Carps, which provide no status effects, or by using two types of seafood with contradicting effects. When eaten, they will restore some of Link's Hearts to his Life Gauge. Though the flavor varies based on ingredients, these rice balls never disappoint.[1]

By using certain types of seafood or adding extra ingredients, the following variations of Seafood Rice Balls can be made:

  • Enduring Seafood Rice Balls:[5] Made by using enduring ingredients. Link's Stamina Wheel will be completely replenished and overfilled when he eats these.[5]
  • Hasty Seafood Rice Balls:[6] Made by using hasty ingredients. If consumed, Link will receive a boost to his movement speed.[6]

Other Appearances

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

The recipe for Seafood Rice Balls is earned by completing the Quest "Fine Bites from Lurelin Village". It is made using four Stealthfin Trouts and four Tabantha Wheat. However, it can be lowered to three of each ingredient through the completion of "Hungry Hunches". When prepared before a Challenge or Scenario, the Warriors' Rune damage will increase by 35%.
