Features and Overview
Breath of the Wild
The Goponga Village Ruins are located on the northeastern side of Goponga Island in the Lanayru Wetlands. The ruins of Goponga Village, they consist mainly of Ruined Houses made of wood, though they also contain the remains of fences and a well.
100 years ago, Goponga Village was heavily inhabited by Hylians.[3][4] However, the Village was destroyed by the onslaught of Guardians during the Great Calamity.[3] Since it was located along the trail Soldiers used to evacuate to Akkala Citadel, the Village was a site of conflict.[5] Surviving residents of Goponga Village potentially fled to Kakariko Village in West Necluda, which is to the south.[5]
Inside one of the Ruined Houses in the Goponga Village Ruins, Link can find a Treasure Chest. Inside of it is a Purple Rupee.
