The Armos Warrior is the Sub-Boss of Skull Dungeon in Oracle of Ages.[1]
Characteristics
The Armos Warrior is a variant of an Armos that boasts a huge shield that protects it from any damage, and a sword that it directs seemingly telepathically. As the Armos Warrior runs around the room in a rectangular path, occasionally changing direction, its sword takes flight and begins its own assault on Link. The sword will spin in place like a fan before launching toward Link, who must move to avoid the weapon. It then stops for moment and repeats the attack. Link must position himself so that the spinning sword collides with the Armos Warrior, causing a crack in its shield.
After being hit by its own sword three times, the Armos Warrior's shield breaks, angering the Armos. It then resorts to charging at Link repeatedly, stunning itself momentarily when it slams into a wall. Link can take this brief opportunity to strike the Armos Warrior with his Sword. After taking enough damage, it will be defeated, leaving behind a Fairy and a portal to the Dungeon's entrance.
