Template:Boss The Template:JapaneseName are a pair of bull-like Goriyas. This duo consists of a red and a blue Goriya who together serve as the mini-boss of the Gnarled Root Dungeon.
The brothers attack Link by tossing a Boomerang back and forth between one another. While they move quickly, they will stand still when attempting to catch the Boomerang. Unlike most mini-bosses, the brothers can be defeated by simply striking them with the sword. When one is defeated, both will disappear. Therefore, the most effective strategy to defeating them is to attack one Goriya repeatedly to defeat it as soon as possible.
Defeating the Brother Goriyas grants Link access to a room holding Gnarled Root's dungeon item, a Seed Satchel already equipped with Ember Seeds.
Trivia
- The Brother Goriyas appear to be based on Japanese Oni, horned devils in folklore that often appear as a pair, one red, and one blue.
- The Brother Goriyas are often misnamed {{{2}}} or {{{2}}} by fans. Although they were never given a name outside Japan, their Japanese name ブラザーゴーリア correctly translates as "Brother Goriyas" in English.
- In Nintendo Power Issue 144, the Brother Goriyas were referred to as "two strong Moblins".
