Gooma is a giant with a spike helmet that swings a spiked ball and chain at Link. Wearing no armor, its body is vulnerable, but not its head. To defeat Gooma, Link must dodge the spiked ball that it throws at him and hit Gooma with his sword.

  • This boss does not appear in the Japanese version of the game, with a second appearance of Helmethead in its place.
