Dodongo
A giant rhinoceros. It hasn't got so much attacking power, but it bounces off attacks with its thick hide.

In The Legend of Zelda, a single Dodongo appears as the Boss of Level 2 of the First Quest. In addition, Dodongos appear in a group of three as the Boss of Level 3 and Level 8 of the Second Quest. Each group guards a fragment of the Triforce of Wisdom. Dodongos also appear in Level 5 and Level 7 of the First Quest as well as Level 1, Level 4, and Level-8 of the Second Quest. Link must use Bombs to defeat Dodongos, either by placing two Bombs in their mouth or by Bombing their side and hitting them once with his Sword. If they are defeated with a Sword, Link is rewarded with four Bombs. When defeated with Bombs, Dodongos may drop either a Heart, a Fairy, or one Rupee.[note 1] After defeating the whole group, Link is rewarded with a Heart Container.

Oracle of Seasons

In Oracle of Seasons, Dodongo appears as the Boss of Snake's Remains. Link must equip the Power Bracelet to pick up and throw Dodongo into Floor Spikes after Bombing it.

Four Swords Adventures

Dodongos appear as a Boss in Four Swords Adventures in the Tower of Flames. They attack by emitting streams of Fire from their mouths. Later in the game, they are also found in the Realm of the Heavens.
